Our Environmental Practices

When Swaran and Davinder’s youngest child was in primary school (which was around 15 years ago!) she was learning about climate change and its impact on the wildlife. She came home and asked them what they were doing to help save the animals and unfortunately, they didn’t have an answer.

This prompted them to think of ways they could improve both their business and way of living, to ensure we were being as sustainable as we could and having the least impact on the environment.

As a practice we do this in the ways listed to the right:

  • Recycling
  • Switching off electrical items that aren’t being used
  • Using rechargeable batteries instead of single use batteries
  • Installing solar panels and solar batteries on the office building
  • Using electric vehicles
  • Trying to be as paperless as possible, by encouraging clients to use an online portal
  • Printing double sided on paper (when having to use paper)
  • Recycling broken office furniture (for example chairs, keyboards, computer screens etc)
  • Using recyclable and reusable packaging
  • Encouraging use of reusable cups and bottles
  • Using movement sensor lights
  • Using paper made from recycled goods
  • Encouraging car sharing
